About the Role

As a Food Runner at Picnic, you will play a key role in supporting the service team and ensuring guests receive their food and beverages promptly and accurately. You will help maintain a smooth flow between the kitchen, bar and dining areas while ensuring each table receives attentive and seamless service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has solid attention to detail, and takes pride in creating a positive guest experience through teamwork and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver food from the kitchen pass to guest tables accurately by seat number while ensuring proper presentation and timing
Support servers by assisting with table maintenance, including clearing used plates, resetting tables, and keeping the dining area organized




Deliver bar beverages and cafe orders to table-service guests while ensuring orders reach guests promptly and correctly
Provide ongoing table support by refilling water, delivering bread, and restocking condiments as needed
Communicate effectively with Servers, Hosts, Kitchen Team, and Managers to maintain a smooth service flow
Assist in creating a clean, organized and welcoming dining workplace for every guest

Qualifications
Smart Serve certification required
Food Handler Certificate, an asset
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and stay organized under pressure
Availability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
