Job Overview

We need some help in the kitchen! Cooking, prepping, dishes, cleaning, a little bit of everything! We're looking for a motivated individual who is a self starter, very comfortable working on a team, a looking for positive work environment to assist in our busy little kitchen operation. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.

Duties
Assist in meal preparation and cooking to ensure timely delivery of dishes that meet quality standards
Handle food with care, following all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
Support the kitchen team with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize resources
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work station, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment regularly
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours




Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a secure working workplace for everyone

Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards (such as HACCP or local regulations)
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail when preparing ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to take direction
Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $18.50-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
