We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Property Accountant to join our growing real estate organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle property accounting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Prepare and review property-level financial statements and supporting schedules
Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit requirements
Work closely with property managers to ensure accurate reporting and issue resolution
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable activities
Assist with improving accounting processes and internal controls
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,



or related field
Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience
Experience in property accounting or real estate accounting is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of month-end and year-end accounting procedures
CPA designation or progress toward CPA is considered an asset
Advanced Excel skills
Solid analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Compensation

Market-competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
