Hiring: Service Advisor

We Are Recruiting a Full time Automotive Service Advisor

Glenoak Ford requires a results-oriented Service Advisor to join our quality team. This is a full time, union position located in our brand recent, state-of-the-art facility in Langford, BC.

Principal Duties:
Manages customer requests for maintenance and repairs;
Provides excellent customer service;
Writes repair orders;
Communicates with customers about the status of work;
Collects payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments;
Sells additional services, including parts and accessories where appropriate.

Position Requirements (minimum experience):
Previous customer service experience required;
Previous experience in automotive service environment is an asset but not required;
General knowledge of parts and basic automotive repair procedures preferred;
Valid class 5 driver’s license required;
Intermediate computer skills required;
Excellent phone manner required;
Critical thinking and problem solving skills required;
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
