The Physiotherapy Assistant will work under the supervision and direction of a Registered Physiotherapist to assist with client treatments, clinic activities, and maintaining a safe and welcoming workplace for patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the physiotherapist with treatment and exercise programs.
Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment.
Assist clients with prescribed exercises and treatment activities as directed by the physiotherapist.
Monitor and report client responses or concerns to the supervising physiotherapist.
Maintain cleanliness , doing laundry and organization of the clinic.
Provide friendly and professional support to clients.
Assist with basic reception and administrative duties when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant is an asset.
Experience working in a physiotherapy or healthcare clinic is preferred but not required.
Reception or administrative experience is an asset.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working with clients of different ages and needs.
Punjabi-speaking is an asset.
Must be available to work evenings, with the ability to work until 8:00 PM when scheduled.
