Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and preventive care strategies
Assist with patient examinations by recording medical history and current dental concerns
Support the dental team with procedures such as applying sealants or fluoride treatments
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental practice management software like Dentrix
Ensure the clinical area is clean,



sterilized, and organized in compliance with infection control standards

Skills
Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office workplace
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, medical terminology, and infection control protocols
Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
Experience with orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Background in dental assisting or related roles enhances your ability to support the team effectively
