Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation to ensure timely service during busy hours
Cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including utensils, tools, and work surfaces
Follow food safety protocols to handle ingredients properly and prevent cross-contamination
Support the serving team by ensuring orders are completed accurately and efficiently
Assist with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying manager of supplies needed
Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues
Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic cooking techniques
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably
Strong attention to detail when preparing meals and maintaining cleanliness standards
