Construction Surveyor – Nexco Construction Company

Location: 51 Raddall Ave, Dartmouth NS

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $28–$35/hour, based on experience

Nexco Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field and office.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct land surveys using GPS equipment and total stations
Collect and manage data for topographic, boundary, and construction surveys
Use software including Trimble Business Centre, Leica Captivate, CAD programs, and Microsoft Office Suite
Perform utility locating to identify underground services prior to construction
Review and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Prepare clear and detailed survey reports and documentation
Work alongside project teams to ensure adherence to project specifications and regulatory requirements




Assist with importing and managing machine control files on job sites

Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of surveying experience
Survey Technician Certificate considered an asset
Ability to work independently and in a team
Valid driver’s licence (required)
Criminal Record check may be required
