Iron Ridge Secondary Campus is seeking a dedicated and resilient Educational Assistant to provide intensive, individualized support for students with highly complex learning, communication, and behavioral needs. This role requires a calm, confident, and skilled skilled who can maintain structure and consistency while supporting students who require supervision, redirection, and personalized programming throughout the school day.

Assignment:
Full-time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant position
Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year

Qualifications and/or Assets:
Experience supporting students and children with behavioral needs would be considered an asset
Experience and/or training as an Educational Assistant




Ability to support literacy and numeracy
Use of assistive communication would be considered an asset
Ability to work with numerous service providers
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Calm and patient approach to solving problems
Willingness to work in an active, team orientated learning workplace
Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and patience.
Commitment to ongoing skilled growth
