Overview

We are hiring a Red Seal certified Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our maintenance team and help keep our fleet secure, reliable, and on the road. If you take pride in quality work and want a stable, full-time role with a growing asset-based carrier, we want to hear from you.

The Role

Keep our fleet of trucks and trailers running safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance inspections and safety/annual vehicle inspections
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, brake, suspension, drivetrain, and transmission systems
Complete routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, and lubrication
Remove, overhaul, repair, and reinstall mechanical components
Complete accurate work orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records
Conduct road tests to verify repairs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment

Identify and report unsafe equipment or condition

What You Bring
Red Seal certification (Truck and Transport Mechanic, Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician, or equivalent) — required
Class 1 driver's licence — required
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience with diesel-powered trucks and trailers




A complete set of mechanic's tools
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong commitment to safety
Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty commercial vehicles or industrial equipment; dealership experience is highly valued.
Proficiency with electrical systems diagnostics and repair; familiarity with schematics is essential.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients when necessary.
Valid certifications related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are advantageous; ongoing training in mechanical or electrical fields is encouraged.

Pay: $32.00-$42.00 per hour
