Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automotive repair and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of trucks and trailers and related equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with power tools and hand tools, as well as the capability to assemble, maintain, and repair trailer components efficiently.

Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Utilize power tools and hand tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble trailer parts.
Conduct inspections of truck and trailers to identify any necessary repairs or maintenance tasks.
Operate forklifts and other machinery safely while performing repairs or moving equipment.
Assist in welding tasks as needed for repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.

Requirements
Proven experience truck and trailer repair.




Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools for mechanical work.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
Experience in welding is advantageous but not mandatory.
Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with truck and trailer maintenance.
A valid driver's license is required.
