Proton Learning Centre is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Science Teacher to teach students in Grades 7–10.

Responsibilities
Teach Science to students in Grades 7–10
Follow the Ontario Science Curriculum
Explain scientific concepts clearly and effectively
Help students with classwork, homework, tests, and exam preparation
Prepare lessons, worksheets, and practice questions when required
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Maintain a positive and supportive learning workplace

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Grade 7–10 Ontario Science
University degree or currently studying Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred
Robust communication and classroom-management skills
Patient, responsible, punctual, and dependable
Ability to explain concepts clearly to students at different learning levels
Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) status is an asset but not required





Schedule

Tuesday to Friday only

Available teaching times:

4:30 PM – 6:30 PM
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

This is a part-time, in-person position.
