Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Food Truck Helper to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a smooth and productive operation of our food truck. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Duties
Assist with food preparation and assembly of menu items in accordance with safety and quality standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly and professional service
Manage cash transactions accurately and handle cash register operations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, utensils, and equipment following food safety guidelines
Restock supplies as needed throughout shifts to ensure smooth operation
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
Follow all food handling and sanitation procedures to comply with health regulations




Support team members during busy periods to ensure timely service
Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and preparing ingredients

Skills
Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
Ability to work quickly and effectively in a rapid-paced setting
Kitchen experience or restaurant background is a plus
Effective communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
