Duties
Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver items to designated locations, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
Load and unload items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts, ensuring secure transportation
Assist customers with the moving process, providing friendly and skilled service throughout each interaction
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory management and timely deliveries




Communicate clearly with team members and clients to confirm delivery details, address concerns, and provide updates
Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and any incidents or damages during transit

Skills
Proven experience in moving heavy items safely and efficiently
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating large vehicles
Forklift certification is highly desirable for handling warehouse loading tasks
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling of goods
Prior warehouse experience is a plus for understanding inventory procedures
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients seamlessly
