Duties

As part of our team you will:
greet each patient with a friendly and skilled demeanor and convey the confidence, knowledge, and attention to detail that our patients have come to trust;
conduct visual acuity testing;
operate optical diagnostic equipment, including Visual Fields, OCT, and Fundus Photos;
obtain detailed and accurate medical history for patient files;
assist the front desk team as needed.

Qualifications




Successful completion of Ontario Secondary School diploma or equivalent as recognized in the province of Ontario
Proficiency in English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to function independently as well as in collaboration with a team
Ability to work accurately at a fast pace in a dynamic setting
Robust customer service focus
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and flexibility
Ophthalmology/optometry or medical experience : 1 year (preferred)

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
