Responsibilities
Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement to ensure safety and compliance
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and documentation
Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipping documents, and daily reports to track shipments and vehicle maintenance needs




Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability and safety during operations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely for loading and unloading cargo when required

Qualifications
Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
Skilled in forklift operation with relevant certification preferred
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair techniques
Ability to perform detailed pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance tasks
Strong communication skills with a focus on safety and customer service
Ability to work independently while following company policies and procedures

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
