Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and presentation standards
Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure visual appeal
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling baked goods
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food packaging efficiently for takeout or display purposes while ensuring product quality
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by contributing to overall food production and service




Follow all food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and minimize waste

Skills
Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong cake decorating skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with guests when needed
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
Familiarity with packaging methods for baked goods to ensure freshness and presentation

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
