The Leo is a brand-new seafood and steak destination opening in Downtown Markham, led by Michelin-starred chef Alvin Leung. We’re looking for passionate, driven Back of House team members who thrive in a fast-paced setting and care deeply about great food, clean execution, and strong teamwork.

What You’ll Be Doing
Prepare and cook menu items with precision, consistency, and care
Maintain high standards for food quality, safety, and cleanliness
Plate and present dishes that look as valuable as they taste
Work efficiently during busy services while supporting your teammates
Follow proper food handling and health & safety procedures
Keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and service-ready
Jump in where needed to keep service smooth and on time

What We’re Looking For
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus,



but attitude matters most
Solid understanding of food prep, cooking techniques, and food safety
Ability to stay sharp and focused in a high-energy environment
Strong communication skills and a true team-first mindset
Versatile availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
A genuine desire to learn, improve, and grow in a qualified kitchen
