Position: Out-of-School Care Educator

About the Role

We are hiring an enthusiastic, caring, and energetic individual to join our team! As a Out-of-School Care Educator, you will help create a secure, engaging, and fun environment for school-aged children in accordance with Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) licensing standards.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, and interest based projects
Engage and supervise children ages 5–12 in daily programming
Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized workplace following Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulation
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members




Communicate daily with families about their child's day
Complete daily documentation as required (attendance, incident reports, etc.)

Qualifications (Alberta Requirements)
Alberta Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certification – Level 1, 2, or 3. Minimum Level 1 completed.
Current First Aid/CPR – Child Care Level B or C
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
Experience working with children (paid, volunteer, or practicum)
Robust communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Ability to work outdoors and participate in active programming

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
