Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and cargo across various routes. This role requires a solid commitment to safety, effective delivery, and maintaining vehicle integrity. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and supporting our logistics operations.

Responsibilities
Safely operate trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for each trip
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols,



and company policies during operations
Assist with warehouse duties such as freight handling and inventory management when required

Requirements
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other loading machinery
Ability to operate automotive repair tools for minor vehicle maintenance or troubleshooting
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading freight
Excellent communication skills and reliability in adhering to schedules
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required for safety compliance

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
