Job Description
All Star Children Services is looking for a part time cook for our current childcare centre. This centre is located in the recent school, Three Rivers. This a part-time position starting at 25 hours per week and as we grow the hours can go up to 30 hours per week. This position involves grocery shopping once or twice a week depending on the number of children, so a vehicle and valid drivers licence is required.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Required Skills





Certificate in Culinary Skills/Chef Training or combination of education and experience in food preparation, nutrition, and dietary requirements

Current Safe Food Handlers Certificate

Knowledge of the Canada Food Guide and Health Standards as set out by the Medical Officer of Health

Knowledge of Food Allergies and Food Substitutions

Current Standard First Aid Certificate and Infant/Child CPR

Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Health Assessment and Current Immunization

Bilingual in English and French an asset

Possession of a vehicle, valid Ontario Driver’s License and required insurance
