When we engage, empower, and support each other, we create extraordinary outcomes—delivering value for our people, partners, and stakeholders while building stronger, more resilient communities.Continuous Improvement SpecialistReporting to the Manager, Operational Excellence, the CI Specialist/Coordinator supports mine and/or mill operations in identifying, executing, and sustaining improvement opportunities. The role collects and analyzes operational data, develops KPI dashboards, coaches frontline teams on OE tools, and delivers projects that improve safety, productivity, cost, and stability.This position is located at the Côte Gold Mine Site, Canada, on a 7/7 or 14/14 rotation.ResponsibilitiesCollect, validate, and analyze production, maintenance, and cost data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.Develop and maintain KPI dashboards (OEE, throughput, recovery, availability) and align definitions and targets with site strategy and budget.Plan and execute CI initiatives (Kaizen, standard work, 5S, SMED,
problem‑solving) in partnership with operations.Build and document CI business cases, charters, actions, and expected benefits; track progress and outcomes in IDHall.Lead root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness and sustainment.Coach supervisors and frontline teams on OE tools and routines (daily huddles, tiered meetings, visual management).Conduct Gemba walks to capture improvement ideas and support evaluation and prioritization with operational leaders.Partner with Systems Administration and Finance to validate realized advantages and support accurate reporting and OE reviews.Key Skills & KnowledgeDiploma or degree in engineering, metallurgy, business, or related field.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent) is an asset; willingness to pursue certification.Mining or heavy industry experience preferred.2–7 years in operations, maintenance,
