Drive equity and inclusion initiatives as a Human Rights Advisor at Trent University. Support policy implementation and foster a compliant campus workplace for all community members.

In this key role, you'll work closely with university administration to promote the Ontario Human Rights Code and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act compliance. With a focus on complaint coordination, mediation, and training delivery, your expertise will shape campus policies and programs that support the diverse needs of students, staff, and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate feedback and complaint processes under AODA regulations
• Investigate OHRC Discrimination complaints and formulate responses




• Develop and deliver educational materials and workshops
• Conduct policy reviews and recommend improvements
• Engage with stakeholders on OHRC compliance projects

Requirements:
• Honours University Degree in Human Rights, Law, or similar field
• Five years' experience in human rights-related work
• Solid mediation and communication skills
• Knowledge of anti-discrimination legislation
• Ability to conduct research and data analysis
