What You'll Do
As a Software Delivery Lead, you'll serve as the bridge between customers, project leadership, and the software development team to plan, monitor progress, and coordinate delivery of custom web applications.
You will:
- Lead Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, release planning, backlog management, and progress tracking.
- Coordinate the successful delivery of web application projects by accounting for timelines, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
- Maintain project visibility through reporting, documentation, and release communications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications and stakeholder engagement.
- Support requirements gathering, capturing customer feedback, triaging user-reported issues, providing user training & related material, and various release readiness activities.
- Assist with overall JIRA Administration, refining our operating rhythm, and software development processes to reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading or coordinating software development projects in an Agile environment.
- Undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing software projects through the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and sustainment.
- Strong experience working with JIRA, or similar project and ticket management tools.
- Experience working directly with customers and managing stakeholder communications.
- Experience in a web application development environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Solid ability to manage competing priorities, track commitments, and drive accountability.
- Comfortable analyzing project data, metrics, and schedules to support decision-making.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and effective in a remote team setting.
Assets (Nice to Have)
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, or government industries.
- Experience with company-wide administration of JIRA (or similar project and ticket management tools)
- Experience supporting software releases in regulated or security-conscious environments.
