Become a Transit Service Worker for the City of Greater Sudbury in a part time, limited casual role focused on vehicle maintenance and cleaning tasks. Provide vital services to ensure the city's transit fleet is operational and well-maintained.

You will perform under the supervision of the Supervisor of Transit Assets and Services, completing daily vehicle cleaning, servicing, and maintenance of transit zones. Shift work is expected, with a requirement for physical fitness and mechanical aptitude. Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with the public and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain all transit vehicles daily
• Empty fareboxes and report any vehicle issues
• Perform yard maintenance and manage bus shelters




• Detail service bays and work areas
• Use a variety of tools and cleaning supplies safely

Requirements:
• Successful completion of Secondary School
• Ability to acquire a Class “DZ” driver’s license within 6 months
• Solid physical capability to lift and move items
• Experience with mechanical tasks
• Positive command of English for effective communication
