- Take ownership of designing and implementing effective QE testing strategies
- Champion and advocate for quality within the agile team, and actively participate in ceremonies
- Explore opportunities for shift-left testing and automation feasibility
- Collaborate with Quality Engineering and Software Engineering practices to explore opportunities to implement AI-based approaches and frameworks
- Track QE progress in support of objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Collaborate closely with scrum master, product owner, software engineers, business analysts, and non-functional testing teams (i.e. vulnerability and performance testing)
- Provide timely and effective communication to QE management, relating to quality, progress, issues & concerns
- Provide timely and effective communications to key stakeholders, summarizing test results and managing impact of testing on overall program
- Navigate effectively through complex challenges, involving others to solve problems and achieve goals

Requirements

- Related university degree or college diploma, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in software QA
- Intermediate or better experience with ETL/data testing, including advanced SQL skills
- Understanding of AWS architecture, including S3, step functions, and Glue jobs
- Comfortable testing reports, including validating the data, the layout, and testing for English and French content
- Advanced experience in QE best practices and tools
- Exceptional organizational,



planning and leadership skills, with a strong ownership mindset
- Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools (BitBucket, CDD, Jenkins)
- Familiarity with test automation tools and concepts
- Robust interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
