The Fleet Services Worker is responsible for maintaining the agency's vehicle fleet to ensure safe, reliable, and productive operation. Duties include conducting routine vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting defects, performing basic repairs and maintenance, cleaning and fueling vehicles, and ensuring emergency equipment is functioning properly. The position maintains accurate records of fuel usage, mileage, repairs, and scheduled maintenance, coordinates oil changes and vehicle repairs, and transports vehicles to repair facilities as needed. The Fleet Services Worker also prepares quarterly fleet reports, assists with the electronic key system, and follows all agency safety policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Highschool diploma or equivalent Experience in vehicle repair Excellent communication and organizational skills Valid class 5 driver's license with acceptable abstract Highly motivated and able to work independently Ability to multi-task and establish priorities Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instruction orally and in writing Working knowledge of Microsoft compute software (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and email Basic knowledge of tools, safety protocols and vehicles WHAT WE OFFER
