The Warehouse Associate – Loader adds value to our Customers and Co-Workers by being responsible for picking customer orders and loading trucks safely, quickly and correctly, making sure that orders loaded correctly on the right truck, in the right sequence so orders arrive in the right place at the right time. This involves being a positive team member by paying attention to detail and accuracy. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all duties and responsibilities are completed as per Standard Operating Procedures: Order Picking:
Meet daily productivity expectations by accurately picking and verifying products according to order specifications and using handheld scanners. For pipe yard operations, ensure the accurate loading and offloading of pipe bundles onto and off trucks. Packing:
Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring all items are accounted for and protected Prep for Shipping:
Label and place picked product in proper location for shipping Truck Loading:
Meet daily productivity expectations by accurately counting and verifying products and by making sure that the correct orders are loaded in the order of delivery on the assigned truck Warehouse Maintenance
: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace by following company policies and safety procedures; proactively address or report issues, clean as you go and ensure positive customer service for the next shift Equipment Operation:
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks as needed,
by following all safety procedures Other Duties as Assigned:
As a member of the team, there may be other tasks assigned that aren’t listed above Recommended Qualifications
Knowledge/ Skill/ Ability Requirements
Basic math functions Basic English reading and writing skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, forklift, etc.) safely and efficiently A positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment by showing the character qualities listed above Experience & Education
Previous warehouse experience an asset RF scanner experience required High School or equivalent education Physical Demands/ Working Conditions
This position involves standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods Position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance Position requires the ability to follow repetitive processes Once you have gained proficiency in your current role and developed the necessary skills and experience, you are encouraged to explore other career opportunities within the organization that align with your goals and aspirations.
