Minimum Requirements

You must:

- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, holders of a Permanent Resident Card, or Landed Immigrant)
- Hold a valid Driver's license
- Reside within Maple Ridge boundaries upon completion of recruit training
- Have a minimum Grade 12 Completion (or equivalent GED)

- Copy of high school diploma or greater (e.g. college, technical or post-secondary degree)

- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (the original embossed copy will be required if selected)

- Wednesday August 26 at 18:30 hrs Information Night - Fire Hall #1
- Wednesday September 2 at 18:30 hrs Information Night - Fire Hall #4
- Wednesday September 23 Written Assessment - Fire Hall #1
- Saturday October 10 Physicals or receipt of CPAT or equivalent
- Various Days November 12,13, 16, 17 Potential Interviews
- Anticipated start date mid January 2027
