Implement AgeCare policies and procedures on the unit
Liaise with physicians and healthcare team members
Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
Direct Personal Support Workers on care tasks
Participate in shift reports with the healthcare teamRequirements:
Background in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
Knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations and acts
Strong communication and teamwork skills
