Eleonore Mine, 1751 rue Davy, Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada Job Description ABOUT THE POSITION Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for designing work areas related to long-hole drilling and blasting activities. They also conduct field follow-ups, prepare plans, compile data, and participate in decision‑making. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor various work areas related to drilling and blasting Design, review, and approve drilling and blasting plans and specifications Participate in the design process of mining stopes Promote best practices in drilling and blasting to control dilution and maximize ore recovery Complete performance back-analyses of mining stopes Conduct field visits for quality control of drilling and long-hole loading Lead continuous improvement projects in drilling and blasting Comply with, understand, and promote company regulations and policies,
