This role encompasses specimen collection, lab procedures, and safety compliance.At SJHS, you will work alongside Medical Laboratory Technologists to perform essential lab tests. Duties include collecting specimens, operating lab equipment, and effectively registering samples in the Laboratory Information System. You will also engage in quality assurance initiatives while ensuring that all safety and confidentiality standards are met.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection accurately
Complete ECG Holter Monitor procedures for patients
Maintain and operate lab equipment as per protocol
Accession and label specimens for laboratory testing
Contribute to Quality Assurance programsRequirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
OSMT Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
Proficient in Laboratory Information Systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
