In this role, you'll go beyond compliance—you'll design solutions that prevent disruptions, safeguard health and safety, and strengthen emergency preparedness programs.LocationRichmond office, five days a week.ResponsibilitiesLead comprehensive risk assessments across operational, financial, reputational, health, safety, and environmental areas, partnering with senior management to develop mitigation strategies.Design and implement emergency preparedness programs, including response plans, staff exercises, and service recovery strategies to minimize operational disruptions.Develop and oversee compliance programs for permits, inspections, hazardous materials, and workplace safety in alignment with corporate strategies and regulatory requirements.Analyze compliance data, interpret trends, and recommend actionable measures to reduce risks and improve resilience.Educate and empower teams through training on safety regulations, prime contractor responsibilities, and risk management best practices.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage hazardous materials, coordinate consultants, and ensure environmental responsibility.Conduct site visits across the province as needed,
