Join the Assisted Living Alberta (ALA) team at Peace River Home Care, where you'll have the opportunity to deliver compassionate, client-centred care while supporting individuals to remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. ALA currently has a Northern Incentive Program Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. This LPN prospect is ideal for nurses who enjoy building meaningful relationships with clients and making a direct impact in the community. The LPN will provide nursing care and support services in clients' homes, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to help individuals maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing secure, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.
Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
