About the role A key collaborator within the Finance department, the VP, Construction Financial Control & Reporting serves as a strategic partner to both the Leadership and Construction & Engineering teams. This role oversees the end-to-end financial lifecycle for a billion dollars per year of investments in our construction projects, from capital expenditures tracking and cash flow forecasting to driving value with the construction team. We are seeking a high-caliber construction control qualified who is equally adept at navigating construction meetings as they are at presenting complex financial trends and variances to executive stakeholders. This position has two direct reports. What You’ll Own Capex financing tracking and reporting CapEx tracking: Oversee the real-time tracking and reporting of all construction CapEx against project budgets and overall timelines. Identify the source of cost differences and their impact on the total project. Provide early warning for total costs or $/MW cost overruns and potential delays, and review with the construction team possible initiatives to contain the cost increases and get the project back on track.
