Our

Underground

division is looking to hire an experienced Equipment Operator to work on project sites in various locations. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in water and sewer (heavy civil construction) and is eager to continue a long-term career within the construction industry. Standard of 10 hours/day between 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (subject to change based on work schedule and season) Primary Responsibilities/Duties

Safe operation of equipment Effectively communicate with all site personnel and co-workers Identify, report, and correct hazards Handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal Operate equipment such as hydraulic excavator, dozer, loader, backhoe, skid-steer Complying with all safety requirements of the job Reporting to Site Superintendent / Supervisor Pre-Operational Equipment Inspections on SiteDocs.



Handle and transport job materials within the work areas Other duties as required and assigned by supervisor Required Qualifications

Minimum

3 years of experience

operating heavy equipment in the

heavy civil construction industry . Valid

Class 5 Driver's License . Ability to successfully complete a

Criminal Background Check

for work on secure job sites. Willingness and ability to travel to project sites located outside city limits. Physically fit and capable of performing the demands of the job, including: Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, and crawling. Lifting and carrying up to

50 lbs (23 kg) . Working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions. Preferred Qualifications & Assets

Valid

Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement
