Position Title: Barista (NOC 65201)

Baked Cafe and Bakery is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Full time Barista to join our team.

Number of Positions Available : 2

Term of Employment : Permanent Position, Full time, 37.5 - 40 hours per week

Business Location : 100 Main Street suite 108Whitehorse, YTY1A 1A3

Wage : $21 per hour

Responsibilities include:
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, along with baked goods.
Greet customers, take food and beverage orders, and provide excellent customer service.
Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers.
Serve customers at counters.
Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as coffee and tea specialties.
Portion, assemble, wrap, and package food for dine-in and take-out customers.
Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances.
Receive payments and operate the cash register.
Stock refrigerators and keep records of the quantities of food used.




Maintain inventory records of food and beverage supplies.
Clean and sanitize workstations, counters, equipment, tables, trays, and dining areas.
Bring clean dishes, eatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.
Remove dishes before and after courses.
Replenish condiments and other customer service supplies in serving areas.
Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, carrying linen to and from laundry area and running errands.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Language
English

Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience
1 to less than 7 months
Training will be provided to the right candidate.
