Step into the role of Support Worker in Harm Reduction Services at the North End Community Health Centre. This position focuses on improving the lives of individuals with alcohol use disorder through outreach and support.

You will be part of the Managed Alcohol Program, working directly with clients who are marginalized due to alcohol use and homelessness. The Support Worker will collaborate with a dedicated team to provide outreach services, engaging with participants in their homes and community environments. A robust grasp of harm reduction and social justice will aid in effectively addressing the needs of those served.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer outreach support to clients facing alcohol use issues
• Collaborate with community organizations for comprehensive care




• Participate in assessments and medical oversight interactions
• Provide compassionate support to marginalized individuals
• Manage ethical decision-making in client relations

Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ experience in community health or social services
• Knowledge of harm reduction principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant academic background in health or social work is beneficial
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity and equity
