STORE SUPERVISOR Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. is looking for an energetic, reliable, and people-focused Store Supervisor to join our team in Canmore!

As a Store Supervisor, you'll work alongside our team while helping lead shifts, support staff, deliver excellent customer service, and keep the store running smoothly.
This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be right there with the team during busy mornings, helping wherever needed and setting the tone for a positive, organized, and welcoming workplace.
ABOUT ROCKY MOUNTAIN BAGEL CO. As you come through our doors, you'll find a welcoming and friendly small-town atmosphere where people connect over handmade food, coffee, and good music. During the day, our bakers whip up homemade flavors of cream cheeses, fillings for our squares, caramels, icings, cookies, and soups. Every night, they make dozens of our artisan 'Mountain Style' bagels in 9 different flavors, as well as muffins, cinnamon buns, and scones. We support our community by partnering with the finest local producers in the Bow Valley.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STORE SUPERVISOR As a Store Supervisor, you're one of the people our team can turn to for direction and support throughout their shift.
You'll help create a positive environment by leading by example, communicating clearly, and jumping in wherever you're needed.
During your shifts, you'll:
Lead and support the team throughout daily café operations
Help organize breaks, positions, and workflow during busy periods
Provide friendly and efficient customer service
Train and support current and existing team members
Coach employees and provide constructive feedback when needed
Help maintain our standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and customer service
Prepare bagel sandwiches, drinks, and other menu items alongside the team
Handle customer questions or concerns professionally
Help ensure opening, closing, and daily operational tasks are completed
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café
Communicate important information with fellow supervisors and management
Step in wherever needed to help the team succeed
Our stores can get busy! We're looking for someone who can stay calm,



organized, and positive when there's a lineup out the door and lots happening at once.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You don't need to know everything on your first day - but you should be comfortable taking initiative, working with people, and leading by example.
Our ideal Store Supervisor has:
Previous supervisory or leadership experience
Previous café, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive and approachable leadership style
The ability to build strong relationships with team members
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
The ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced workplace
A willingness to work hands-on alongside the team
Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
Confidence handling busy periods and customer concerns
A genuine interest in creating a great experience for both customers and coworkers
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that great leadership isn't about standing back and giving instructions - it's about being part of the team.
STORE SUPERVISOR WORK SCHEDULE This is a full-time position with shifts scheduled between approximately 5:15 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Sunday .
Availability for a combination of early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays is required. Start and finish times will vary depending on the needs of the store.
