Canada Games: Québec, 2027
The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition and will bring together more than 3,500 high-calibre athletes and coaches in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027, across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Games celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.
Building the Team
The 2027 Canada Games Host Society is looking for bold thinkers to help create a legendary Games experience. Your mission? Your Role
History is made with the right people. As an IT Assistant, you’ll play a key role within the team to help tomorrow’s champions have an unforgettable experience in an energetic and stimulating environment. With your attention to detail and organizational skills, you’ll help ensure a seamless, positive, and memorable experience for athletes during the Games.
Under the supervision of the Chief Human Capital and Administrative Officer, your talent and energy will enable you to:
Provide first-line technical support related to hardware, software, peripherals, and network connectivity in a high-volume operational environment;
Support the IT team in preparing, installing, configuring, and testing IT and office equipment for the various Games venues;
Collaborate on the configuration, validation, and documentation of IT support tools and procedures;
Follow up on level 3 incidents with vendors and external partners;
Participate in the onboarding, training, and supervision of volunteers involved in IT operations;
Support the management of ad hoc requests and contribute to resolving issues in a dynamic environment.
Keys to success

College diploma in computer science,
IT support, or any other relevant field;
One year of relevant experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
Proficiency with computer tools (Google Workspace);
Proficiency in Windows and networking concepts;
Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and software;
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;
Solid command of French, both spoken and written; English is an asset;
Authorization to work in Canada;
Successful completion of a criminal background check required.
