As an Educational Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Principal to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and other learning needs. Your role includes modifying programs, assisting with physiotherapy exercises, and engaging in yard duties while adhering to a flexible schedule. Familiarity with Ontario Curriculum and assistive technologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with special needs in various settings
• Modify programs and assist in learning activities




• Participate in pool programs and physical exercises
• Provide outdoor supervision during yard duties
• Document and chart behavior data regularly

Requirements:
• Community college diploma in DSW/CYW or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience with special needs children
• Valid First Aid/CPR Level C certification
• Completed Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
• Strong observational and crisis intervention skills
