Lead the Supportive Housing for Young Parents program with Why Not City Missions in Brantford, Ontario. This full-time role focuses on compassionate leadership, team management, and client-centered programming.
As a Program Manager (SHYP), you will report to the Executive Director and oversee the daily operation of the supportive housing initiative. Your leadership will guide a staff team of 2-4 volunteers and facilitate support for young female parents aged 16-25. Key skills include case management, programming oversight, and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure program alignment with organizational values and goals
• Guide and train staff and volunteers on SHYP processes
• Manage client intake and coordinate individual goals
• Implement responsive programming to meet client needs
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility
Requirements:
• 5+ years in nonprofit or social services
• Proven team leadership experience
• Explicit Police Vulnerable Sector Check
• Valid “G” class driver’s license
• Postsecondary education preferred in related fields
