The University of British Columbia is seeking a Research Assistant with expertise in biobanking and molecular biology techniques. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations of the biobank, manage tissue samples, and collaborate with researchers on various tissue processing tasks. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead daily wet lab operations for the biobank
• Process and store biological tissue and fluids
• Maintain accurate records in the biobank database
• Fulfill researcher requests for biospecimens
• Train co-op students on technical procedures

Requirements:
• University degree or relevant technical program
• Minimum three years related experience
• Knowledge of molecular biology techniques
• Experience with biobanking preferred
