In this vital role, you will assist with a range of administrative tasks that ensure smooth operations within the Pulmonary Function Lab and Bronchoscopy. Responsibilities include processing patient referrals, scheduling appointments in Connect Care, and maintaining detailed records across multiple platforms. Your ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping patient confidentiality will drive your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee management of patient referrals for care
• Schedule patient appointments using Connect Care
• Facilitate communication with referring medical sites
• Enter data in designated IT systems accurately
• Handle reminder calls and departmental mail
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education or equivalent
• 1 year working in an ambulatory setting preferred
• Proficient with Connect Care and Microsoft Office
• Completion of Medical Terminology Course necessary
• Solid communication skills in high-stress scenarios
