As a Support Worker, you will engage with individuals experiencing challenges such as homelessness and trauma, providing essential support to facilitate their recovery and stability. Your role involves creating and monitoring service plans, promoting life skills, and maintaining a protected environment for tenants. Collaborate effectively with various service providers and advocate for clients' rights continuously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and monitor individual service plans with tenants
• Provide medication administration and crisis support
• Lead health and recreational programs for residents
• Ensure building security and tenant well-being
• Encourage independence in daily living skills
Requirements:
• Diploma in community social services or related field
• Minimum two years of experience in social services
• Recognized First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of harm reduction and recovery models
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
