Covenant House Vancouver provides a critical service to youth aged 16 to 24. As a Youth Worker, you will face challenging yet rewarding responsibilities, ensuring each young person receives the support they need to thrive. This role requires individuals who are empathetic, resilient, and committed to caring for vulnerable youth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome youth, assess immediate needs, and provide resources
• Maintain supportive relationships with at-risk youth
• Facilitate intake and orientation for current program participants
• Collaborate with staff in goal setting and planning
• Coordinate youth activities and manage emergencies

Requirements:
• Social service diploma or degree considered an asset
• Relevant experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with challenges of homelessness
• Excellent communication and boundary management skills
• Competency in basic computer tasks
