As a Health Care Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, providing individualized care tailored to resident needs. Key skills include personal care, feeding assistance, and mobility support. This role requires a caring attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively with a dedicated team for meaningful resident interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist residents with bathing and personal hygiene
• Support safe transfers using appropriate equipment
• Aid residents during meal times and nourishment
• Implement care plans for dietary needs
• Guide residents to activities and social functions
Requirements:
• One year of experience in continuing care preferred
• Completion of recognized PCA/HCA Certificate Course
• Active registration with CLHA
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Post-secondary education is an asset
