BLU WATER DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD INVITES APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING TEMPORARY EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT POSITION An Educational Assistant is responsible to the school Principal to provide medical, physical and safety/supervision support to students with intensive special education needs in elementary and secondary schools.
Eligibility To be eligible, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma plus completion of a post-secondary education program in one of the following: Education Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Educator,
Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education and/or experience.
Temporary Vacancy One (1) temporary part-time(0.20 FTE) Educational Assistant required.
Scheduling is Tuesday.
Commencing September 8, 2026 and ending February 2, 2027 or earlier if incumbent returns or circumstances change.
