Join YVR as an Electrician in the Facilities Maintenance Department, ensuring safe operations for passengers and cargo. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on airport systems and equipment.

This full-time position offers two permanent roles within YVR’s Facilities Maintenance team. You will handle a range of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, lighting, and airfield lighting. Emphasizing safety and teamwork, this role requires analytical skills and effective communication with both team members and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain generator sets and lighting systems
• Troubleshoot passenger loading bridges and switchgear
• Maintain HVAC controls and electrical infrastructure




• Work with Automatic Microcomputer and PLC control systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards in a team environment

Requirements:
• Three years of related experience as an Electrician
• Valid BC Trade Qualification for Electricians
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid BC driver’s license (class 5 or better)
