Overview JOB SUMMARY: In keeping with the Mission, Vision and Values of Park Place, the RN, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, uses the nursing process and apply their knowledge, skills and clinical judgment in performing assessments, planning, implementing and providing quality and person-centered nursing care to the Residents. The focus and core of all registered nursing practice at Park Place is the provision of direct care to the Residents. The Registered Nurse will operate in compliance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice as outlined by the relevant provincial governing bodies, practice standards and code of ethics and Park Place policies and procedures. The RN will ensure a commitment to protected and quality Resident care as per the Park Place culture of safety and strategic directions.
Responsibilities Direct care provider (including medication administration and management)



and direct care delivery to Residents.
Act as a critical thinker, assessor and interpreter in clinical practice.
Coordinate, plan and evaluate care with the interdisciplinary team.
Participate in, develop and/or lead quality improvement activities.
Participate as a decision maker and problem solver; advocate for Residents.
Provide leadership and mentorship as part of the clinical team.
Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to practice as required by provincial governing bodies, with adherence to practice standards, code of ethics and Park Place policies.
Commitment to safe, high-quality Resident care and alignment with Park Place safety culture and strategic directions.
